July 17th – Whats Happening At The Pool…

Hello swimmers, happy half way point of the season! Good news is we have only had half the fun we are going to have for the summer so let’s keep the good times rolling! Not too much for you all to read this week, a few reminders and announcements.

DIRECTORIES ARE HERE!!

Copies of the 2023 Wedgwood Swim Club Directory are now available.  Please ask at the front desk if you’d like a copy.

Band-Aids – Please take them off before entering the pool, even if they are water proof. They will fall off and make their way into the filters which puts unneeded strain on the system. If they don’t make it into the filters, they end up being unsightly on the bottom of the pool or on the deck. Help us out and remove them before swimming and our guards will get you a new one when you are done.

Water Polo: As we get closer to the season we want to get a better sense of who is interested. If you have any inclination that your kid might want to play, please fill this google form out to help us build our practice schedule and so that we can inform the league of which age groups we will have teams for.

Also as we get closer to the season I am going to be ramping up my pitch for water polo.. I mean it is a sport with a ball in the water! What more could you ask for out of a sport?! If you or your kids do not know much about the sport that is ok, we will be taking beginners. And if you want to watch some top notch water polo, this week the Men’s and Women’s USA national teams are playing in the world aquatics championships so check out some games if you can.
